Why do I need to choose two Hair Systems?
At MACOhair®, we do not offer the option of purchasing only one Hair System to new clients, because our priority is to ensure the best possible result in appearance, quality, and longevity.
MACOhair® Hair Systems are exceptionally thin and discreet, delivering an absolutely natural result. However, this unique thinness requires special care. When using only one system, the frequent removal and reapplication required for maintenance will cause wear within 1–1.5 months.
By contrast, when two systems are used alternately, the total lifespan can reach up to 12 months, meaning approximately 6 months per system.
In addition, the maintenance service provided by MACOhair® is far more comprehensive than a simple wash. It includes deep hydration, sterilization and disinfection to eliminate fungi and bacteria, keeping the systems in optimal condition. This process takes approximately two hours, which makes same-day maintenance and reapplication of the same system impossible.

No. Daily removal of MACOhair® Hair Systems is not required. On the contrary, the system is applied securely and stays perfectly in place, accompanying you continuously throughout your daily life.
The only requirement is maintenance at our locations once or twice per month. This maintenance ensures the preservation of a highly natural appearance while maximizing the lifespan of the Hair System.
During your maintenance visits, our specialists take full care of the system and perform all necessary refresh and renewal procedures, ensuring your appearance remains flawless at all times.

Are there any limitations with Hair Systems?
None, provided that you take proper care of your Hair System. This means performing maintenance on schedule and keeping the hair properly hydrated on a daily basis.
If you follow these guidelines, you can continue all your activities without restrictions. You can shower, use the sauna, swim, ride a motorcycle, work out and even play football. With a little patience during the first few days, you’ll quickly integrate the Hair System into your daily routine, without it holding you back in any way.
How many Hair Systems do I need?
- It simplifies and speeds up the maintenance process, as you always have a clean Hair System ready to be applied immediately.
- It extends the lifespan of the Hair Systems, since during cleaning one system is soaked in a specialized solution for 5–8 hours, allowing it to be thoroughly cleaned without wear.
- You benefit from a €50 discount per system when choosing 2 Hair Systems (total discount €100) and €70 per system when choosing 3 Hair Systems (total discount €210).
What is the lifespan of Hair Systems?
The lifespan of Hair Systems cannot be defined in a simple, fixed way, as it depends on several factors, such as your lifestyle, as well as how consistently you follow daily care and regular maintenance routines.
In general, the lifespan increases as you become more experienced with Hair Systems. At MACOhair®, we will guide you through everything you need to know from the very first day of application, so you can achieve the longest possible lifespan.
If you follow these guidelines, you can expect a lifespan of up to 6 months per Hair System. Some experienced clients achieve even longer lifespans, but this typically requires a higher level of familiarity and care.
As a beginner, you should realistically expect the Hair System to last around 4–5 months, without excluding the possibility of longer use.
Naturally, external environmental conditions also play an important role. Hair Systems tend to experience more wear during the summer due to sun exposure and swimming in the sea compared to winter. However, by using MACOhair®’s specialized care products, you can protect your Hair Systems throughout all seasons of the year.
How long does it take from the first appointment to the application of the Hair System?
What are the steps to apply MACOhair® Hair Systems?
The first and mandatory step is a free video consultation with the owner of MACOhair®. This initial remote consultation is where the owner personally meets you, evaluates your case, answers all your questions, and determines whether you are suitable for a Hair System application.
The first contact does not take place in person. The process begins exclusively online to ensure proper guidance, accurate evaluation, and the right solution from the very beginning.
If you are approved, the owner will personally guide you through the next steps and give you the option to schedule your in-person application at one of the MACOhair® Institutes that best serves you.
The reason this first evaluation is carried out by the owner is simple: he wears a Hair System himself and wants to have personal insight into every client before the in-person process begins. Since it is not possible for him to be physically present at every Institute, this structured video consultation ensures consistency, quality control, and the best possible outcome.
Once the final approval is given, the in-person process begins and your Hair System application is scheduled at the selected MACOhair® Institute.
Where does the hair come from?
The hair used in our Hair Systems comes exclusively from 100% natural hair of the highest quality, sourced from a single donor per Hair System. Before being applied, the hair goes through multiple preparation stages and strict quality control checks, and only healthy hair is selected for use. At MACOhair®, we guarantee consistent, top-tier hair quality, which is often even superior to the client’s original hair.
Who is suitable?
Our primary audience consists of men affected by hereditary hair loss. The unfortunate truth is that, to date, there is no definitive cure for hair loss. The good news is that we offer a solution that allows you to live with full, natural-looking hair, without compromises or limitations, despite hair loss.
In the early stages, thinning usually begins with recession of the frontal hairline. At this stage, we would not typically recommend Hair Systems as the ideal solution.
At the next stage, so-called “diffuse” or “circular” hair loss begins to appear at the top and/or back of the head. If you are at this stage, Hair Systems are an excellent solution, and we guarantee that they can restore your appearance to its original state, before thinning began, without the risks of surgical intervention or uncertain results.
The only key requirement is that the hair on the sides has not been lost, so that we can seamlessly blend the Hair System with your natural hair and achieve a completely natural result.
